This is the first page of a short article I wrote for SPUR’s member publication, The Urbanist, about vestigial commercial signage in the former warehouse districts. An unabashed preservationist, I enjoy spinning the cautionary tales of overzealous development although I’m actually a big proponent of infill growth.
